Service Department

At Alvord’s our technicians are very thorough and aware about what should be repaired and issues that may arise in the future. Estimates are a gauge for our customers to evaluate and decide what repairs are the most important to them, relating to the cost and age of the equipment.

We service all equipment that we sell. We have a STIHL Platinum Certified Technician on staff. All technicians are factory trained and certified and attend annual update schools.

For each unit that is serviced there is a diagnostic fee. The diagnostic fee is applied to the repair if the unit is fixed. If the unit is not worth repair the fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Labor rate: $75 per hour

Chain and Blade Rates:

$8.00 per chain off saw

$15.00 per chain on saw

Straight/High-Lift Blade $10.00 per blade

Mulching Blade $14.00 per blade

*All blades and chains are 1 week turn around
